Some love stories begin with fireworks. Brianna and Robbie's began with friendship.

Introduced through Robert's brother, the two quickly formed an easy connection that naturally grew into something much deeper. By the time Robert finally asked Bri on their first official date, it felt like the most natural next step. As Bri shared, "Everything fell into place from there."

Their May 29th wedding at Ashley Farm was every bit as genuine as their relationship—filled with heartfelt moments, colorful spring blooms, plenty of laughter, and a few unforgettable surprises that kept guests smiling all night long.

A Proposal Hidden in Plain Sight

Sometimes the best surprises are the ones hiding in plain sight.

Robert planned the perfect proposal after church on a rainy Sunday. The couple planned to meet both of their moms for brunch afterward, and Bri believed it would be the first time their mothers had ever met. Little did she know, they had already been secretly shopping for the engagement ring together.

As they headed toward a hill topped with a large cross, Robert's mom casually mentioned that his younger brother Lukas was taking graduation photos there. Bri briefly suspected a proposal was coming—until she spotted Lukas wearing his full cap and gown and convinced herself it really was just graduation pictures.

After taking a few family photos together, Robert completely caught her off guard when he dropped to one knee.

Of course, her answer was an enthusiastic yes.

A Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony Surrounded by Nature

One of the things Bri and Robbie looked forward to most wasn't the reception or the party—it was simply becoming husband and wife.

Ashley Farm's outdoor ceremony space provided the perfect setting for that moment.

Surrounded by lush greenery and blooming spring landscapes, guests watched as the couple exchanged vows and joined in communion with each other beneath the open sky. Their "garden party" vision came to life beautifully, with vibrant spring florals serving as the focal point throughout the ceremony and reception décor.

The natural beauty of Ashley Farm allowed every colorful arrangement to shine without needing elaborate decorations, creating an elegant atmosphere that felt timeless and effortlessly romantic.

Why They Chose Ashley Farm

When searching for their wedding venue, Bri and Robbie wanted somewhere that felt welcoming—not overwhelming.

During their tour, they immediately noticed the difference.

"Ashley made us feel really comfortable when we were touring venues. She was kind, considered our budget, and was genuine with us. It was nice to not feel like we were working with a salesperson. Additionally, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and it fit everything we were looking for."

Planning a wedding is full of decisions, and having a venue team that truly listens can make all the difference. From the first tour through wedding day, our goal is always to help couples feel supported, informed, and excited throughout the planning process.

An Ice Cream Truck Everyone Could Get Behind

While many couples choose late-night snacks like pizza or sliders, Bri knew exactly what she wanted.

As a self-proclaimed "big ice cream girl," one of the moments she anticipated most was the arrival of the ice cream truck after dinner.

It quickly became one of the biggest highlights of the evening.

Guests gathered outside to cool off with their favorite frozen treats while mingling beneath the evening sky. It was a fun, unexpected experience that perfectly reflected the couple's personalities and gave everyone a chance to enjoy a nostalgic treat before the dancing continued.

Late-night snacks have become one of our favorite wedding trends because they create another memorable experience for guests—and this one was definitely unforgettable.

Keeping the Dance Floor Packed

The celebration only picked up from there.

As the music played and the dance floor filled, Bri and Robbie treated their guests to another surprise—a t-shirt toss that had everyone cheering, laughing, and trying to catch one of the custom shirts flying across the dance floor.

It was such a unique way to keep guests engaged and added another layer of excitement to an already energetic reception. Moments like these are what make every Ashley Farm wedding unique—couples aren't afraid to personalize their celebration and create memories that truly reflect who they are.

Advice for Future Ashley Farm Couples

When asked what advice they would give future couples, Bri shared something every engaged couple should remember:

"Find the one thing you find the most important—maybe it's florals, photography, your DJ, dessert, or even a t-shirt toss—and plan around it. It is YOUR day and you deserve to have what you dreamed of. All of the little things will always work out, especially because the wedding coordinators and team at Ashley Farm are AMAZING!"

We couldn't have said it better ourselves.

Congratulations, Bri & Robbie!

Bri and Robbie's wedding was the perfect reminder that the best celebrations are the ones that feel authentically you. From their colorful garden party aesthetic and heartfelt outdoor ceremony to ice cream under the stars and a dance floor full of laughter, every part of their day reflected who they are as a couple.

Thank you for allowing Ashley Farm to be part of your story. We wish you both a lifetime filled with just as much joy, adventure, and, of course... plenty of ice cream.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs.!
